Immer wieder verlegt die Edition Olms aus der Schweiz erfreulicher Weise englische Originalausgaben zu Themen der Rock- und Popkultur im deutschsprachigen Raum. Das gilt auch für diese hübsche Box zu den Beatles - 50 years ago: Die großformatige Schachtel enthält ein ebenso großformatiges Buch, 30 seltene Faksimiles, eine DVD und fünf Foto-Drucke über die Beatles. Das Buch wendet sich zunächst den vier Beatles als Personen zu, vgl. Inhaltsverzeichnis: JOHN LENNON, PAUL MC CARTNEY, GEORGE HARRISON und RINGO STARR, dann folgt eine Geschichte der Beatles in Text und Bild von 1957 bis in die 1970er Jahre hinein.
