Dieses Buch gibt in erster Linie viel Motivation fuer die eigene empirische Studie. Von Konzeption ueber Durchfuehrung bis hin zur Auswertung einer Umfrage ist das Buch logisch aufgebaut und gut strukturiert. Viele praktische Beispiele, business cases und checklists warten auf den wissensdurstigen Leser.
Ich habe das Buch genutzt zur Erstellung meiner Master Thesis an der Grenoble Graduate School of Business zu schreiben. Dort hatte das Buch besonders bei den Professoren hohes Ansehen und wurde auch in dem Leitfaden zur Erstellung der masterarbeit empfholen. Die Informationen sind sehr ausführlich und umfassend und lassen kaum Fragen offen. Für quantitative, ebenso wie für qualitative Forschung werden zahlreiche Methoden vorgestellt, die sich in der Wirtschaftswissenschaft anwenden lassen. Besonderer Pluspunkt ist ein umfangreiches Glossar und der Aufbau mit vielen Beispielen und Case Studies. Auch der erste Schritt der Themenfindung wird in diesem Buch behandelt und Hilfestellung wird geboten. Ein gutes Buch für alle englischen Bachelor- und Masterstudenten, aufgrund der Ausführlichkeit jedoch nichts, um sich einen schnellen (oberflächlichen) Überblick zu verschaffen.
